State Police reported that on Thursday (7/14) at 7:45pm Scott Revell, age 52, of 9 Grand Avenue in Rochester was traveling north on Furnace Road in the Town of Ontario when he lost control of his motorcycle due to unsafe speed.
Upon crashing, Revell tried to flee the scene into the woods, however he was caught by State Police. The odor of alcohol, blood shots eyes, slurred speech and impaired motor function were observed. Revell refused all field sobriety checks and a blood test.
Revell sustained a fractured ankle during the accident. After being released from the hospital he was Charged with Felony DWI (2 prior Felony Convictions) Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree, Unregistered, Uninsured Vehicle, Speeding, along with several other violations.
Revell was remanded to the Wayne County Jail on No Bail to reappear in Town of Ontario Court.
