There are boys and girls around the world who are in desperate need of hope.

To help fill that need, Second Baptist Church of Walworth will be holding an Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Packing Party again this year on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm. It will be held in the Fellowship Hall in the rear of the building. The Church is located at 3689 Main St., Walworth, NY on the corner of Main and Church Street. Please use the Church St. entrance. These shoe boxes will be packed with school supplies, toys, hygiene items, and clothing. All the items have been donated by businesses, organizations, and individuals.

Volunteers are needed to pack the boxes with the items and with your love. Come and stay as long as you like. Money is also needed to ship these boxes around the world. Whether you can come or not would you consider giving a donation to help send these boxes off? It costs $10.00 to ship each box. Please bring or send your donations to: Second Baptist Church of Walworth, PO Box 68, Walworth, NY 14568. Designate the money for “Operation Christmas Child, Samaritan’s Purse.” The shoe boxes are sent to orphanages, immigration or refuge camps, disaster relief areas, war zones, remote rural areas in many countries, and third world countries around the world. Many of these children have nothing. Many have never received a gift. Many do not even have their own personal hygiene items (such as tooth brushes), they must share them with others. Many cannot go to school unless they have their own school supplies.
