At a ceremony at Heritage Baptist Church in Palmyra, Senator Pam Helming recognized 25 veterans from Wayne County who were nominated for the New York State Senate Veterans Hall of Fame. Five of the veterans were honored posthumously.
“It was incredibly moving to share these veterans’ stories with the community and to recognize their service and sacrifice in front of their family and friends. These proud Americans teach us all what bravery, leadership and service to others really means. I am forever grateful to each of them,” said Senator Helming.
