Greg has served as an adjunct instructor at SUNY Brockport, is the current chair of the New York State Staff and Curriculum Network and is a frequent contributor to state and national policy discussions both in Albany and Washington, D. He earned a B.S. in Elementary Education and M.S. in Reading Education from the State University College at Buffalo; holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from S.U.N.Y Brockport; and an Ed. D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo.

Greg Macaluso is an educational leader who is passionate about education and an advocate for children, their families, support staff members, teachers, administrators, and the broader school community. He is a leader of great character, broad experience, intelligence and skill. Greg will join the district on July 1.

Greg and his wife Monica, an elementary principal in the Spencerport Central School District, have four children.

A statement from the school board follows:
“The board would also like to take this opportunity to express our community’s gratitude to Maria Ehresman for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the Williamson Central School District. We wish Maria and her family all the best as she begins another chapter of an amazing and accomplished career and life. Her legacy of tireless advocacy, commitment and excellence will be felt in Williamson and our region for decades to come. We would also like to express our gratitude to the students, faculty, staff, administrators and community members who served on our interview committees. Your feedback was very valuable and weighed heavily in our deliberations,” said a district spokesman.”

“Dr. Macaluso will be leading a wonderful school system, excellent students and a gifted and committed faculty, administration and staff. The board looks forward to welcoming Greg and his family to this new leadership role with great anticipation and enthusiasm.”

The Macaluso Family will be making Williamson their home as soon as possible, but no later than next June. A reception to welcome Greg to the Williamson community will be held in the near future.
