State Troopers out of Wolcott received a report from the Clyde Village Police Department on Sunday (11/25) that an intoxicated man and woman had left a residence in an intoxicated state with three children in their vehicle.
The vehicle was located on West Genesee Street in Clyde and the driver,
Jason F. Cahill, age 38, of 146 Peirson Avenue in Newark was found to be intoxicated at 3:58 p.m., with the woman’s three children, ages 2-3 and 9 in the vehicle at the time of the stop.
Cahill was arrested for DWI/BAC, with a blood alcohol level of .15%; Aggravated DWI-With Three Children in the Vehicle: three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of Motor vehicle in the Third Degree.
Cahill was arraigned and remanded to jail on $1000 cash/$3000 bond to reappear in Galen Town Court on December 5.
