State Police Investigators out of Wolcott received a report on January 10, concerning a Lyons man having sexual intercourse with a 15 year-old Town of Rose girl.

The girl reported the incident to a trooper in Auburn, where she now resides and wanted a Court Order of Protection barring the defendant ever contacting her.

Following an investigation, Dawson Frank Peeso, age 24, of 3405 Jeffrey Road in the Town of Palmyra was arrested on Tuesday (1/20) at 1:30 p.m. for Rape in the Third Degree-Actor 21, or More-Vaginal Sexual Contact with a Person Under the age of 17. The incident occurred in the town of Rose.

He was taken to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment and released on his own recognizance to initially appear in Town of Rose Court on January 26th.
