The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest on Monday (12/9) at 9:49 p.m. of Richard A. Wollek Jr, age 47, of Bauer Van Wickle Road in the Town of Lyons following a disturbance in the Town of Lyons.
Wollek is charged with Harassment Second Degree-Physical Contact, Obstruction of Governmental Administration, Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
Wollek while allegedly intoxicated, destroyed a camper that he did not own along with all the belongings within the camper. Mr. Wollek then caused a physical injury to a female victim by hitting her with a TV and pushing her to the ground. Mr. Wollek refused to let his girlfriend leave the Camper as well as denied her access to her phone when she was seeking to call emergency services.
Mr. Wollek then pushed a second victim while preventing the first victim from fleeing from the camper. Mr. Wollek actively attempted to get away from Law Enforcement officers when they showed up to the call and began their investigation.
Mr. Wollek was transported to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment Jail for CAP.
