Palmyra Village Police reported the warrant arrest on Thursday (10/26) of Shawn J. Gerber, age 38, of 3 Erie Street in Macedon for Obstructing Governmental Administration and Assault in the Second Degree.

It is alleged that Gerber was at a youth football game in early October and became verbally obnoxious and was asked to leave by game officials. He refused and police were summoned.

Gerber began acting in a threatening behavior towards the office and chest bumped the officer that resulted in the officer receiving two broken ribs.

Gerber ws arraigned in Palmyra Village Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear in Court on November 14th.
