The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Town of Lyons man, following a drug investigation. This morning, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office executed search warrants on multiple residences in the Town of Lyons.
The search warrants stem from ongoing narcotics investigations. Multiple tips were received from the public regarding 46 Church Street claiming that it was a source of drug supply in Lyons. Detectives were able to identify the individual supplying at the Church Street address, and they were able to obtain probable cause to apply for search warrants on the Church Street address and a Water Street address.
During execution of one warrant, Antwan Terry, age 38, of 101 Water Street in Lyons was placed under arrest. Over an ounce of crack cocaine and three handguns were found in the residence. One of those guns was confirmed to be stolen.
Terry was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, for possession over a half ounce, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, With Intent to Sell, (3) counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon, With Prior Conviction, (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 3rd Degree for Defacing Identity of a Firearm, (3) counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.
Terry was taken to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment and held to appear in Lyons Town Court.
