State Police out of Williamson responded to Konstantinou’s Restaurant on Route 104 in the Town of Ontario on Monday (2/5) evening at 9:46 p.m.
Paul F. Angotti, age 47, of 1821 Brickchurch Road in Ontario got into an argument with the bartender and several patrons. It is alleged that while in an intoxicated state, Angotti went in to the bathroom, plugged the toilet with toilet paper, urinated on the floor and wiped soap all over the mirror.
Angotti, who is a paid Brighton firefighter, was asked to leave and pulled a nine millimeter hand gun out and threatened the bartender and patrons. The gun was wrestled from him and staff and patrons held Angotti down until troopers arrived.
Angotti was charged with Menacing in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Loaded Weapon in the Second Degree. He was arraigned in Ontario Town Court and remanded to jail on $1500 cash/$3000 bond to reappear in Court on February 20th. He bailed out on Tuesday morning.
Troopers said the handgun that was seized was registered to Angotti. No other weapons were seized.
