The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest on Monday (9/9) at 1 p.m. of Joshua D. Lawliss, age 40, of Pembroke Drive in the Town of Marion for Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, following an investigation into a criminal mischief in the Town of Marion.

The charges stem from a report of alleged shots fired with a BB gun and it is alleged that Lawliss started shooting at a gentleman’s windshield using a BB gun after becoming upset with a conflict.

Lawiss was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and was released to appear in the Town of Marion Court on September 18th to answer for the charges.

Deputies were assisted with the investigation by State Police.
