The Wayne County Office of the Sheriff reported the arrest on Wednesday (1/8/25) at 11:15 a.m. of Michael S. Hunt-Woodruff, age 20, for two counts of Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree.
It is alleged that around August 14th 2024, Michael Hunt-Woodruff stole a pick-up truck from Jurex’s Repair Shop in Palmyra and stole a utility trailer and a UTV from along the CSX right of way on North Wayneport Road in Macedon.
Michael Hunt-Woodruff was arrested at the Wayne County Jail where he is currently held on unrelated theft charges by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on theft related charges and by the State Police for a traffic incident including Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle and Failure to Appear warrants on an unrelated charge.
Hunt-Woodruff was arraigned on the new charges and remanded back to jail. In another Hunt-Woodruff related case, on October 28th, 2024 the Newark Police Department responded to Rob’s Auto and Customs at 111 West shore Boulevard for a report of a utility flatbed trailer and three A TV’s stolen overnight from the business.
On December 19th, 2024, He was arrested by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office for Grand Larceny 2nd after he stole 2 pick-up trucks from a landscaping business in Henrietta.
Ryan L. Brothers, age 20, of 3 Mobile Drive in Newark was arrested at his residence for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree, following the investigation by Newark Police, State Police and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. Newark charges in this case are still pending against Hunt-Woodruff
