Wayne County Office of the Sheriff, along with members of the Wayne Narcotics Enforcement team, announces the arrest of Darrell L. Williams, age 33, of Arcadia Zurich Norris Road, Newark, following several months of investigation into the sale of the narcotic drug known as heroin from a licensed Day Care in the Town of Arcadia.
In September of this year, 2017, Darrell’s girlfriend and mother of his children, Erin M. Siler, age 34, along with Erin’s mother,Shelia M. Detaeye, age 53, were both convicted of Criminal Sale Controlled Substance in the Third Degree class B-Felony, for selling the narcotic drug known as Heroin from their home/daycare on Arcadia Zurich Norris Road, Newark.
Darrell Williams is accused of allowing the sales of the narcotic drug, heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia used in the sale of and consumption of heroin, to occur at his residence while children, one female age 7, and one male age 3, were present.
Darrell Williams was charged on November 18, 2017 with 1-count ofCriminal Nuisance in the First Degree E-Felony, 2-counts of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree, A-Misdemeanor, and 2-counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, A-Misdemeanor. The Sheriff’s Office and WayneNET were assisted by members of the Newark Police Department and Seneca County Office of the Sheriff.
