State Police Investigators out of Williamson reported the arrest on Friday (2/7) at 8:26 a.m. of Scott W. Weber, age 65, of 200 East Miller Street, Apt. 607 in Newark.
Following a lead by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children on January 23rd, a search warrant and seizure was conducted on Weber’s electronic devices on January 23rd.
A Google warrant discovered Weber had downloaded numerous images and video to his Google cloud account.
Weber was initially charged with the D Felony charge of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child-Less than 17 years old and E-Felony Performance of a Child Sex Performance-By a Child less that 16 years-old.
He was taken to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment and released to appear in County Court on the charges. More charges may be pending after a search of his electronic devices.
