State Police investigators out of Lyons reported the arrest on Sunday (1/12/25) of Marc Zanelotti, age 49, of  240 West Main Street in the Village of Palmyra.

Following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, State Police investigators obtained a search warrant for his residence in April of 2023 and seized his cell phone and electronic equipment.

After the State Police Computer Crimes Unit out of Canandaigua discovered 48 photos and videos of child pornography Zanelotti was charged with Possession of  a Sexual Performance by a Child.

Zanelotti was processed by State Police and taken to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment and released on his own recognizance to appear in Town of Palmyra Court on February 12.
