On Tuesday (8/9) at 6:05 p.m. a New York State Parole Officer spotted Jessica Parker-Sharkey, age 23, of 12633 South Butler Road in the Town of Butler operating a vehicle in the parking lot of the Save-A-Lot store in the Village of Newark. He knew she was on parole and not supposed to be operating a motor vehicle. As she pulled out on the road he made a traffic stop and Newark Village Police were summoned.
A search of both Parker-Sharkey and the vehicle resulted in police finding five hydrocondone pills, some cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Parker-Sharkey was arrested by Newark Police for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and released on appearance tickets for Newark Village Court on September 7th.
Parker-Sharkey was then arrested by New York State Parole on revocation of parole. She was remanded to jail on No Bail.
