On Saturday, (10/26), at the Clifton Springs Hospital located at 2 Coulter Road in the Village of Clifton Springs, Dante V. Gile, age 22, of Wolcott Spring Lake Road in the Town of Savannah was taken into custody at 9:57 p.m. for Assault in the Second Degree without incident.
This arrest is a result of an investigation conducted by the Ontario County Sheriff’s office where it is alleged that, on Saturday, Gile knowingly, intentionally and unlawfully prevented personnel in a hospital emergency department, including registered nurses, in the course of performing their essential services by physically fighting, threatening, screaming and attempting to bite which resulted in multiple nurses and security guards suffering injury.
Gile was transported to the Ontario County Jail for CAP Court arraignment.
Upon his release, Gile was taken into custody by State Troopers for an incident on Thursday (10/24). He reportedly got into an argument with family members, poured gas on himself and threatened to burn the house down. He was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree and two counts of Aggravated harassment in the Second Degree-Physical Contact-Injury to a Family Member.
Gile was initially taken to the hospital where the Clifton Springs incident occurred
