State Police out of Wolcott reported the arrest on Friday (12/22) at 11:55 a.m. of Stuart M. Peck, age 29, of Route 89 in the Town of Savannah following an accident on Route 104 in the Town of Huron.
Peck was walking away from the accident after he was a passenger in the vehicle with a girl who had an Order of Protection in place at the time. He was charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, arraigned and remanded to jail on $500, to reappear in Huron Court on January 22nd.
While being processed at the Wayne County Jail, Peck was found to have secreted Buprenorphine (Suboxone). Peck was subsequently charged with Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree. He was arraigned and remanded back to jail on No Bail.
