Newark Village Police responded to a report of a brawl on Stuart Avenue in the Village on Saturday (1/18) at 8:04 p.m.

Following the incident on Monday (1/27) at 5:25 p.m. Chanronda Caine, age 42, of 75 Phelps Street in Lyons was the second woman arrested in the incident. She was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Reckless Endangerment and Riot in the First Degree.

She was taken to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment and released to appear in Newark Village Court.

Philameisa D. Baker, age 45, also of Phelps Street in Lyons was taken into custody on (1/18) and charged with Riot in the Second Degree and due to children present at the time of the incident, Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She was released on appearance tickets for Newark Village Court on February 5th.
