On Wednesday (4/11) the Ontario County Sheriffs Office responded to the BOCES Flint Campus after receiving a call from their Administration. An investigation was initiated on a substitute teacher by the Sheriffs Office along with the BOCES Administration into a report of inappropriate behavior by a substitute teacher.
The investigation revealed that a 17 year old female student had reported that her substitute teacher, Lee V. Maclaren, age 76, of 1793 Hydesville Road in the Town of Arcadia, had inappropriately touched her buttocks while in the classroom.
Maclaren was arrested and charged with Forcible Touching in violation ofNYS penal law 130.52 (Class A Misdemeanor). He was processed at the Sheriffs Office in Canandaigua and issued an appearance ticket to return to the Seneca Town Court at a later date.
Maclaren has been removed as a substitute teacher from BOCES.
