On Saturday (2/1) the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of Emily A. Taylor, age 40, of 1687 Wilsey Road in the Town of Savannah.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported that a second person has been arrested following an investigation into a domestic incident resulting in a juvenile child being hospitalized, after exposure to a controlled substance on January 29, at a residence on Wilsey Road in the Town of Savannah.

Initially William Smith, age 54, was charged on Thursday (1/30). 

On Saturday (2/1) at 1:49 p.m. of Emily A. Taylor, age 40, of 4056 Wilsey Road in the Town of Savannah, was taken into custody. Following a search of the residence, controlled substances were located at the Wilsey Road residence. 

Both Smith and Taylor now face charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Both Taylor and Smith were transported to the Wayne County Jail on their arrest dates CAP Court arraignment and both released to initially appear ion Savannah Town Court before the case will be transferred to County Court due to their severity. She was released with pretrial services to appear initially in Town of  Savannah Court on February 6th.
