State Police out of Wolcott reported stopping a vehicle on Route 104 on Sunday (11/6) at 3:16 p.m. for Operating Without an Inspection Sticker.

The driver, William Smith, age 46, of 8340 Ridge Road, Apt. 6 in Alton exited the vehicle and a bag of cocaine fell out of his pants. More bags of cocaine were found on the driver’s side vehicle floor.

Smith was charged with Criminal Possession of a Narcotic Drug in the 4th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree-Intent to Sell, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, No Inspection Sticker, No License, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor vehicle, No Interlock Device as Required for a conviction for Driving While Intoxicated.

Smith was arraigned in Sodus Court and remanded to jail on No Bail.
