Walworth man charged with Trespass, then makes Terrorist Threats

January 20, 2018
/ by WayneTimes.com

Security at the Del Lago Resort and Cassino spotted an individual who had been banned in June of 2017 from the casino for post betting (putting bets down after time allowed).

Scott C. Furey, age 47, of 3200 Mill Road in Walworth was arrested for Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree and was being processed at the State Barracks in Waterloo.

During the processing Furey told the troopers that when he got out of the barracks he was going to return to the cassino with a AR-15 assault rifle and take out people. He repeated the threat, including the name of an individual he planned on taking out.

Following his processing for the Trespass charge (after the smiling photo was taken) Furey was then charged with Making A Terrorist Threat. He was then arraigned and remanded to the Seneca County Jail on $20,000 cash/$40,000 bond to reappear in Court.
