State Police out of Williamson reported the arrest on Thursday (12/8) at 7:09 p.m. of Sean P. Murray, age 49, formerly of Beaver Creek Road in the Town of Walworth.
It is alleged that on December 1st, Murray was at the Beaver Creek address in Walworth and forced his estranged wife to have sexual relations with him. She told police she feared physical harm from her husband if she refused.
Following an investigation, Murray was charged with Sexual Conduct, Felony Rape in the Third Degree, Cohersion in the Second Degree.
When troopers found Murray at his girlfriend’s residence in the Town of Penfield, he was found in possession of the drug Xanax, without a prescription.
He was then additional charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.
For that charge he will appear in Penfield Town Court on December 28.
Murray was then taken to the Wayne county Jail for CAP Court and released to appear in Walworth Town Court on the sex crimes.
