Newark Village Police responded to the Newark-Wayne Hospital on Friday (1/2/26) at 8:18 p.m. for a report of a disturbance.

It is alleged that Emily M. Morlock, age 32, of Hennessey Road in Walworth became distraught and bit a hospital security guard on the arm causing an injury and fought with responding Newark Officers.

Morlock was taken into custody and charged with Harassment in the Second Degree-Physical Contact; Resisting Arrest, Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the Second Degree; Assault in the Second Degree-Intent to Cause Physical Injury.

Morlock was taken to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment and released  on her own recognizance and scheduled to appear in Lyons Court on 1/7.
