The Wayne County Office of the Sheriff reported the arrest on Friday (4/26) at 11:15 a.m. of Kyle R. Mein, age 19, of 11860 Maplewood Drive in Wolcott following an investigation into a larceny at the Butler Fastrac on Route104.
Deputies charged Mein with Robbery in the Third Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree. Mein allegedly entered into the Fastrac claiming he had a gun demanding money. After taking an estimated $240 cash from a cashier, he fled the scene on foot. He was later located in the Town of Wolcott, where he was found to be in possession of a crack pipe with residue.
Records show this was not the first drug related arrest for Mein.
Mein was transported to the Wayne County Jail - Central Arraignment arraigned by the presiding Judge and will appear in the Town of Butler Court at a later date and time for further court proceedings.
