Supervisor Jacobs opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. The meeting was held at the Town Complex where Covid-19 safety protocols were in place. All Board members were in attendance. Supervisor Jacobs called for a moment of silence to honor James “Jim” Gallaher Sr., a longtime member of the Lincoln Fire Department who passed away on February 27, 2021..
The Town Board was authorized to sign the 2020 Service Award Program Sponsor Approval form for the Lincoln Fire Department.
Highway Superintendent Tim Vendel was authorized to obtain additional bids for a fire protection system in the Highway Department building. He was also authorized to order a Front Plow Truck, a Kubota Utility Cab Tractor Mower, a 4 x 4 Ford pickup truck through the NYS mini bid system and a Three Wheel Broom Street Sweeper through a Sourcewell lease contract. The Town Supervisor was authorized to sign this lease agreement document.
The Town Board received a letter from Western Wayne Ambulance, Inc. alerting them to a recent donation of land at the intersection of Routes 350 and 441. This will alleviate the need for the Town of Walworth to procure land for a new location. Western Wayne Ambulance thanked the Board for their assistance and will keep the Board updated as to the progress of the recent donation development. The Town Board meeting on April 15, 2021 will be held at the Town Complex and is open to the public.
The Town Board had Attorney/Client privilege at 6:20 PM. They entered Executive Session at 6:50 PM and the meeting adjourned at 7:55 PM.
