ALBANY, N.Y. (AP)  An ad campaign is being launched to raise awareness of the new minimum wage across New York state.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo also launched a Wage Theft Hotline to report employers not complying with the increase. The Department of Labor hotline number is 888-4-NYSDOL.

The minimum wage is going from $13 to $15 on Dec. 31 for New York City employers with 11 or more workers. It's going to 13.50 for smaller New York City employers.

In Long Island and Westchester County, the minimum wage is rising from $11 to $12. It will reach $15 at the end of December 2021.

For the rest of the state, the minimum rises to $11.10 on Dec. 31 and will reach $12.50 at the end of 2020.
