The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance on Monday (11/25) at 12:46 a.m. It is alleged that Christian Lormil, age 33, of 9352 Glenmark Road in North Rose, ran from police  due to being in Violation of a Stay Away Order of Protection with another party on scene in the Town of Marion. Deputies later located Lormil in the woods and he was taken into custody. 

He was charged with three counts of Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest following a domestic incident. 

Additionally Lormil was charged with three counts of Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Burglary in the 2nd Degree, Harassment in the 2nd Degree, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

These additional charges stemmed from an arrest warrant regarding a separate domestic incident on November 18th, 2024.

State Police also had charges against Lormil after receiving a report on November 11, concerning an attack on an ex-girlfriend on Canalview Drive in Lyons.

It is alleged that Lormil began following his ex-girlfriend and new boyfriend in a vehicle. When the new boyfriend exited the girl’s vehicle to see his mother, Lormil jumped out of his vehicle, had a confrontation with the new boyfriend and attempted to get in the ex-girlfriend’s vehicle. Lormil was prevented from entering the vehicle by the new boyfriend and locked the vehicle and attempted to drive away.

At that point it is alleged Lormil picked up a rock and  damaged the ex-girlfriend’s  vehicle as they attempted to leave

 At 7 a.m. on Monday (11/25) Lormil was arrested by State Police out of Lyons and charged with the Felonies of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree-Previous Conviction; Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree; Aggravated Family Offense and for Violating a Court Order of Protection-Criminal Contempt in the First Degree by Weapons/Threat.

Lormil was taken to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment and  due to his extensive criminal history remanded to jail, pending court appearances in the Town of Marion and Lyons.
