The Newark Police Department and the Wayne County Office of the Sheriff report the investigation into a Homicide that occurred in the Village of Newark early Friday morning. Police responded to the report of a body in the roadway on Marie Ave in the Vil-lage of Newark, around 7:07 A.M and responding Officers located a deceased male. Detectives believe this incident occurred sometime overnight. The name of the victim was not released.

Detectives are treating this as a Homicide and
