The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest on Monday (9/7) at 6:22 p.m. of Brett M. Houck, age 37, of Palmyra following an investigation into a traffic stop.

Deputies initiated a traffic stop and upon speaking with Houck, he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Houck perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests to determine if he was intoxicated or under the influence. Houck was unable to complete the Field Sobriety tests and was then arrested.
Houck was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office where he submitted a breath sample result of .30% BAC, almost four times the legal limit.
He was issued citations for DWI/BAC and Aggravated DWI, with a blood alcohol level of .30%; Failure to Keep Right; Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree and Unlicensed Operator.
Mr Houck was taken to the Wayne County Jail for prints and photos and was released to a sober third party with appearance tickets scheduled to appear in Town of Palmyra Court at a future date.
