On Thursday (11/21) at 6:28 a.m. State Troopers out of Williamson responded to a domestic incident on West Main Street in the Village of Sodus.
It is alleged that Jamar C. Ortiz, age 18, of West Main Street got into an argument with his sister and punched her in the face with a closed fist.
After Troopers arrived, Ortiz initially refused to comply and be handcuffed, spitting at the trooper and kicking him in the groin.
Ortiz was charged with two counts of Harassment in the Second Degree-Physical Contact; Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration on the Second Degree.
He was taken to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment and released to appear in Sodus Town Court.
