An investigation into the incident led to the arrest of the Juvenile who will face Felony charges of “Making a Terroristic Threat” a Class D Felony through Family Court.
"We received information from one of our secretaries that a student turned in a note he found in a restroom that had a written threat of a school shooting to happen on a specific date next week," said Colella. "It was a male student, and the student who turned it in ultimately ended up being the individual who wrote the note."
Palmyra Police Chief Kyle Dinardo said the threat turned out to be fake. "It sounds like he (the student) just wanted a day off of school," said Dinardo.
Parents in the District were made aware of the incident.
