At around 5 a.m. on Friday (10/4) a call to 911 reported a home invasion at  846 Route 31F (Macedon Center Road) in the Town of  Macedon.

It was reported that Alton and Janelle Plumb were accosted by what was described as three Hispanic males, one reportedly garnishing a hand gun. All three were reportedly dressed in hoodies.

Immediately, deputies responded and K-9 and aerial drones searched the area.

Sheriff Rob Milby stated that Al Plumb was beaten during the attack and received minor injuries. 

It was unknown what the reported home invasion crew wanted, or what they left with. Just after 1 p.m. deputies and investigators cleared the scene. 

Plumb lives in the house next to where  Alpco Recycling is located.

The three reported assailants left the scene and Sheriff Milby has asked the public to notify 911 of any sightings, or with any information concerning the incident.
