State Police out of Lyons received a report of an erratic driver on Wednesday (8/7) at 12:20 p.m.. The vehicle was located at the Dollar General store off Route 31 in the town of Lyons.

The vehicle operator, Brandy J. Disbennett, age 46, of Queens Farms Road in Martville was found to be in a highly intoxicated state.

She was evaluated by a DRE (Drug Recognition Expert) and subsequently arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Felony Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated--With Children Under the Age of Seventeen, three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree-believed to be methamphetamine.

The children were ages three, eight and twelve years old.

Disbennett was taken to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment and remanded
