MARION: Entered into rest on October 27, 2024 at the age of 81. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Yvonne; daughter, Michelle (Gary) Everdyke, son, Gerald M. (Laura) Ameele; grandchildren, Jessica (Eric), Matthew, Jamie, Abram, Heaven, Kailani (Steven), Kelli-Jo (Amber); great-granddaughter, Emersyn; brothers, Jim (Sue) Ameele, Paul (Cheryl) Ameele; sister, Linda (Chuck) DePoint; dads cat, Nola; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Gerald retired from Marion Highway Department as the highway superintendent for 35 years and is a member of the Calvary Church of Newark.

Friends and family are invited to a graveside service at 1pm Saturday, November 2nd, at the Marion Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Lane, Marion, NY 14505.
