Passed away at the age of 82 He was predeceased by his parents, Roland Sylvester Bauer and Margie Anne Bauer. He was Born in Kane, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, his devoted children: son, James and daughter Melissa (Carl). He joined the United States Navy and was a Machinist mate 2nd class on the U.S.S. Point Defiance. He served 4 years and was a Vietnam veteran. He was employed at RG&E for a year. Then went to work for the Haloid corporation, that would become the Xerox Corporation. He worked as a Licensed City of Rochester stationary engineer 1st Class and Refrigeration Engineer 2nd class Watch Engineer. From 1968 until his retirement in 1999. He was an avid outdoors man. His other hobbies were bee keeping and clock rebuilding. His wish was for an understanding of his closest friends to remember him as they last saw him and not how he was viewed at the end. A celebration of his life will be held at the American Legion, 818 Ridge Road, Webster, NY 14580 on November 9th, at 1 PM to 4 PM.
