CLYDE:Dawn Bergin, 84, died on January 3, 2025 at her home in Clyde, NY.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 10am – 12pm at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St. Clyde, NY.  The funeral service will be held immediately following. 

Mrs. Bergin was born in Walton, New York on May 8, 1940 the daughter of the late John (“Jack”) and Madelyn (Bovee) Tweedie.  Dawn worked as a secretary for American Rocket Company (NASA) where she met her husband, Thomas Bergin, and later became a Homemaker.  She was a licensed pilot, did morning traffic reports for WHWH in Trenton, NJ.  Dawn attended Cobbleskill Agriculture & Technology where she earned an Associates Degree in Nursery Education and became a Master Gardener.  Dawn was an active member in the United Methodist Church in Clyde, NY.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Bergin; four sisters, Maris (Tony) Molisani, Marilyn (David) Liseno, Wendy (Clarence) Emery, Jacalyn Tweedie; two sisters-in-law, Penny Tweedie, Mary Tweedie; lots of nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by three brothers, J. Malcom Tweedie, Bruce Tweedie and Marshall Tweedie.
