PALMYRA: George passed away on December 28, 2024 at age 78. He was born to the late Robert and Eleanor Case. George was also predeceased by his wife, Ann Case; siblings, Bob, Bill, and Jim Case, Pat VanNorman; brothers-in-law, Leonard VanHaneghan and Ken VanNorman; sister-in-law, Florence Case.

George is survived by his sons, Shannon (Carrie) and Sergio (Cathy) Case; grandchildren, Aleece, Lauren, Ella, Jamie, and Lucas; sisters, Sandy VanHaneghan and Linda (Tim) Bevis; sister-in-law, Janice Case; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Bruce and Donna Garrett, Phil Sullivan and Judy Tidd, Chris and Krista Jamison; and many dear friends.

Family and friends may gather for visitation from 5-7 PM on Friday (January 10, 2025) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 E. Jackson St., Palmyra, NY 14522, where his military honors will begin at 7 PM, followed by a remembrance service.  George and Ann will be laid to rest on Saturday (January 11, 2025), 10 AM at Port Gibson Cemetery, Canandaigua St., Port Gibson, NY 14537.
