PALMYRA: Died on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the age of 86. Please join the family for prayers of committal on Thursday, August 29 at noon in Port Gibson Cemetery. A celebration of Sally’s life will immediately follow the burial at the Palmyra VFW Post, 4312 Route 31, Palmyra. In lieu of flowers please consider memorials to a charity of your choice.

Sally was a lifelong methodist. Her family was everything to her and she was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Sally is predeceased by her parents Everett and Laura Worden Bardon; her sister Bonnie Allen; daughter-in-law Sue Cummings and a grandson Shaun Stevenson. She is survived by her children Cheryl (Steve) Parsons, Gordon Cummings Jr , Dawn (Thomas) Byers and Shelly Cummings; sister Sue (Charlie) Crumb; grandchildren Holly (Ralph) Brongo, Gordie (Stephanie) Cummings III, Sarah (Steve) Perino, Heidi (Dan) Hollingshead, Amanda Cummings, Kailie (Cindi Crowl) Cummings, T.J. Byers, Jeremiah Gross, Josiah Gross and Noah Gross; great-grandchildren Devin and Matt Brongo, Alessandro Perino, Brayden McPherson, Oliver, Zera and Shiloh Cummings and Zoe and John Hollingshead and many special friends and family too numerous to mention.
