Linda (Lin) Herman of Las Vegas, NV, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, surrounded by her children and husband, on November 30, 2024, at the age of 68. Lin was born on August 14, 1956, and spent most of her life in Palmyra and Marion, NY. She was predeceased by her mother, Jeannine Stubbings; her father, Robert Stubbings; and her sisters, Carol Stubbings and Sharon Vanderwege.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, John Zambito; her children, Valerie (Jason) Paton, Stacy (Roger) Yarrow, and Michael (Kym) Herman Jr.; her loving grandchildren, Kaiya, Logan, and Sadie; her stepchildren, Angela Zambito, Dan Zambito, and Jeremy (and family) Zambito; her brother, Tom Stubbings; her brother-in-law, Ron Vanderwege; as well as many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Lin loved spending time with her family and friends and had an abundance of love for her grandchildren. She enjoyed all wildlife, especially raccoons, deer, and cardinals. She had a playful side and adored The Grinch and gnomes. Lin cherished a good campfire with a cold beer. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
At this time, there are no immediate services or calling hours. The family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Friends of Allegany State Park (https://friendsofallegany.com/) as a lasting tribute to the many happy memories Lin and her family shared there over the years; to the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge in NC (https://www.appalachianwild.org/) in dedication to her deep love for wildlife; or to Lollypop Farm (https://www.lollypop.org/).
