ROCHESTER/SODUS POINT: November 18, 2024, at age 69, Donna Krehling passed away peacefully at Highland Hospital with her husband at her side.
A Celebration of Life open house will be held at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club, 7030 Bayview Drive, Sodus Point, NY from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1st.
Donna was born in Rochester on March 28, 1955, the daughter of Doris and William Miller. She lived her entire life in the Rochester and Sodus Point area, while enjoying winters in south Florida. Donna had a long and successful banking career and upon retirement, undertook many charitable causes in the community. Most notably, she founded the Breast Cancer Charity Golf Tournament, which has grown to be the largest and most successful charity golf tournament of its kind at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club. Donna’s skill with a deck of cards was legendary and she was famous for hosting lively and creative games of all kinds. She possessed an incomparable sense of style, she loved people and was recognized as the unofficial social director of the neighborhood. Above all else, she was a kind and loyal friend, devoted to her family and loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; sons John (Kate) Kenney, Tim (Jennifer) Krehling and daughter Amy (Edward) Powers; as well as her grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Lea and Parker Kenney, Dylan Krehling, Shane (Alaina) and Jordan Powers; brothers Gary (Kathy) Miller, Bill (Kelly) Miller and Randy (Judy) Miller; brother-in-law John (Collette) Krehling, many nieces, nephews and cousins and countless friends that adored her.
