SODUS: Charles Kush, 68, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Rochester General Hospital. In accordance with his family’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
Born on December 9, 1956, in Rochester, NY, Charles was the son of the late Frank C. and Dorothy M. (Quackenbush) Kush. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1974 to 1978. Following his service, he worked as a machine operator at Dynalec Corporation in Sodus, where he remained until his retirement.
Charles found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved listening to music, cheering on his favorite football teams, and most of all, spending time with his beloved grandson. His warmth, humor, and devotion to family will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Diane (Malchoff) Kush; daughters Ami (Robert) Fox and Stephanie Kush; siblings Elizabeth Kush, Robert Kush, and Frank Kush; and his cherished grandson, Deion Lee Kush.
