NORTH TRURO, MASSACHUSETTS: Una Myrle Mead passed into her Saviors arms on October 7th, 2024 at age 98.  Una was born February 26th, 1926 in Saulte Ste. Marie, Canada.  She was pre-deceased by parents Margaret and Gordon Wilcox, husband Elton Mead, brothers Kenneth (Dorothy) Wilcox, and Jerry (Hazel) Wilcox.  Una is survived by brother Gordon (Arleen) Wilcox of Oregon, daughter Debra (Jerry) Hollander of North Truro, MA, son Dale (Grace) Mead of Clinton, TN and grandchildren Jason (Kat) Hollander of Boston, MA, Lindsey Hollander of Orleans, MA, Everett (Karen) Mead of Jacksonville, AR, Mason Mead of Clinton, TN and great-grandchildren Quinn and Aurora.  Our family would like to acknowledge and thank the hospice aides and nurses of the Visiting Nurse Association who helped to provide excellent care to our mother during her illness.  Per Una’s wishes, there will be no memorial service outside the immediate family.  Contributions in Una’s memory may be made to the Benevolent Fund of the Nauset Baptist Church,1050 North Eastham, MA 02651
