NEWARK: Doris Polakiewicz passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025 at 94, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving daughters.

She was a lifelong resident of Newark where she met her husband and raised their three children. She was a full-time home maker who enjoyed fashion, jewelry, cooking, sewing, embroidery, creative home decorating, plants, flowers and had a good sense of humor. 

Doris will be greatly missed by her sister, Marian Pagnattaro; daughters Sheree Polakiewicz (Mark Clingerman) and Diane Green; three grandsons, Elijah (Jen), Erik and Corick; four great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Jozie, Jamison and youngest Nina. Aunt Doris will be fondly remembered  by her special nieces, grand-nieces and grand- nephew.

Doris was predeceased by her husband, Len and her son Daryl.

In keeping with Doris’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A graveside interment will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. 

Final arrangements were made by Finger Lakes Cremation, Macedon. The family would like to thank Director Laci, staff and volunteers of the Laurel House for their great care.
