SODUS - Olive Martha Reed, born December 21, 1931, passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2026, at 94 years old. 

Survived by her son, Earl Jesmer (Sandra) her grandchildren, Heather Whitaker, Jamie Jesmer and (Camie) and Lisa Merleau( William); nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Green, and her sister, Faith Stevens. 

Olive loved to travel and enjoyed seeing new places and making memories along the way. She had a special love for dogs and cherished the companionship they brought into her life. She was also known for her snarky sense of humor and her personality that could make you laugh, even when you least expected it. 

In her final days, Olive was lovingly cared for in the home of her son, Earl, and his wife, Sandra, where she was surrounded by family and the comforts of home. 

Olive will be deeply missed by her family, but the memories she created and her unmistakable sense of humor will live on through the generations that follow her. Her family will carry her memory, along with the stories, laughter, and love that made Olive uniquely herself. Arrangements by Schulz-Pusateri Funeral Home.
