PALMYRA: Connie Reybrouck passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 28, 2024, at the age of 73. She was predeceased by her mother, Gwendolyn Bates.
Connie is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Paul Reybrouck, whose unwavering love was the cornerstone of her life; her children, Gina Marie (Neil) Landry and Christopher Reybrouck (Andrew Wall); her cherished granddaughter, Emma Grace Landry; her sister-in-law, Connie (James) Bailey; nieces Terry Vastbinder and Spring Bailey; and many dear friends.
Connie was a devoted mother, and her children, Gina and Christopher, were her pride and joy. She often said their births changed her life for the better, a sentiment reflected in the unwavering love and support she provided. Connie believed she was blessed with a wonderful life, enriched by the joy, laughter, and endless love that filled the family she built. As a grandmother, she delighted in spoiling Emma Grace.
Her love for Paul was profound and enduring; they were truly inseparable, sharing a bond that deepened with each passing year. Their daily lives intertwined, Connie cherished every moment spent with Paul, finding strength and joy in their partnership. She lived life with zest and humor, relishing family gatherings, especially during the Christmas season, which was her favorite time of year.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 4-7 PM on Friday, November 1, at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 E. Jackson St., Palmyra, NY 14522. A funeral service for Connie will be held on Saturday, November 2, at 10 AM, followed by her burial at East Palmyra Cemetery.
