MACEDON: John Louis Schmidt, 86 passed away on February 14, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.  Born on September 26, 1938 in Rochester, New York the son of Louis and Louise Schmidt.  Family and friends are invited to call from 1-3pm at Robert L Yost Funeral Home, Inc, 123 West Main Street in Palmyra, New York.  Burial will take place at a future time.  Please consider making a donation in John’s memory to the Alzheimers Association; Friends of the Macedon Library, the Rotary Foundation or a donation of your choice.
