CLYDE- It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Ely Schutt 59, on August 26, 2026. Ron was known for his incredible work ethic, unwavering dedication, and kind heart. Ron was a devoted husband and father who loved his family deeply. He was a source of strength, guidance, and unwavering support to those he loved. He will be missed beyond measure, but his love and the values he instilled will remain with his family forever.

Ron was born on May 29, 1967. He grew up in Clyde, NY where he met his wife and raised his family. He spent many years working as a welder, a profession he took immense pride in. Outside of work, Ron found his greatest peace on the water with a fishing pole in his hand. Whether spending a quiet morning by the lake or taking his boys to the best fishing spots, fishing was one of his greatest passions. He treasured those moments and the simple joys that nature provided.

Ron is survived by his wife, Tina Schutt; his sons, Ronnie (Samantha) Schutt and Todd (Erica) Snyder; his cherished grandchildren; his sisters, Laurie and Sandra Schutt; his brother, Ernie Schutt; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Virginia Schutt, and his sisters, Gloria and Kim Schutt.

The family invites those who wish to pay their respects to the Pusateri-Canolesio Funeral home located at 68 Sodus Street in Clyde on September 4, 2026 from 4pm-6pm.
