/ by WayneTimes.com

Clyde—Frank W. Sebastiano, 77, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Highland Hospital, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and will carry his memory forever.

Friends and loved ones may call from 3–5 PM on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Baris Funeral Home, 87 West Genesee St., Clyde, NY. A service honoring his life will follow at 5 PM. After the services, please join the family at the Clyde VFW to share stories and memories. He will be laid to rest at the NYS Veterans Cemetery—Finger Lakes.

Frank was born in Lyons on November 4, 1948, the son of the late Patsy and Gertrude Watson Sebastiano. He was a proud graduate of Clyde High School, Class of 1968. Following graduation, he honorably served his country as a Sergeant in Vietnam with the U.S. Army.

After his service, Frank began working in construction before taking a supervisory position with Goulds Pumps, where he dedicated nearly 40 years before retiring. He was a past school board member for the Clyde-Savannah School District and a proud member of the American Legion. Frank also served as Commander of the Clyde VFW Post 947; an honor he held multiple times and one he took great pride in.

Above all else, Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was the kind of man who showed his love not just in words, but in everything he did—through his strength, quiet sacrifices, and unwavering presence. His family was his greatest purpose and his proudest accomplishment. As a husband, he was loyal and steady, a true partner through life. As a father and grandfather, he was deeply loving, supportive, and proud, always putting his family before himself. To them, he was everything—the heart of their family and the foundation they could always rely on.

Frank had a way of making everyone feel welcome. Whether through a conversation, a laugh, or simply his presence, he left a lasting impression on those who knew him. He especially enjoyed searching storage lockers, drawn to the thrill of discovery, a hobby that brought him joy and created many lasting memories with his loved ones.

His greatest legacy is the love he gave so freely. Though he is gone, that love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 50 years; his three children, Nicole Mastrangelo, Sara (Scott) Skinner, and Jeremy (Kellie) Sebastiano; five cherished grandchildren, Jenna, Mason, Maddix, Ryder, and Elise Sebastiano; a great grandson, Parker. a brother, Roy (Margo) Sebastiano; a sister, Pearl Sebastiano; and close friends, Dave and Noreen Kanaley. He was predeceased by three siblings, Marion Arliss, Lee, and Pat Sebastiano. www.barisfuneralhome.com
